Preventive Expertise management Extension of capacity with temporary (complementary) expertise at management level, even when the knowledge is in house but the expert is not available.
Preventive Replacement or bridging management Interim management, e.g. in case of sick leave or in anticipation of a replacement. The interim manager takes over tasks or even final responsibility, and secures continuity.
Preventive Change management Achieving behavioural, structural or orientation properties within an organisation in order to realise a (new) fit to a market, societal or economic change.
Curative Crisis management Crisis management is applied when a conflict situation occurs. An external consultant may offer solutions.
Curative Turn-around management The immediate solving of operational, tactical or strategic problems that without interference may end up in crisis. In this case, the continuity is not (yet) in danger. The challenge is reversing the problem into new opportunities.
Curative Recovery The solving of operational, tactic or strategic problems leading to an impending moratorium or bankruptcy. All efforts are aimed at recovering the company's continuity. In this case, it may be said that the curator is already knocking on the door.
